Arylic Paintings

Presenting my acrylic paintings....

SEA BEACH SUNSET VIEW

Sea beach sunset was an abstract painting I have done in 2009. I started taking painting seriously during that time as I had a passion with landscape paintings since when I was a kid. When I visited Victorian Gallery which is located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, I observed few landscape paintings.

Sea beach sunset painting was just an experimental piece of artwork because it gives me an idea where I stand with my skill levels and where to improve on.

STREET VIEW LANDSCAPE

Street view landscape was also an abstract painting I have done in 2009. The colours of the building which I took inspiration from around the houses outside across the street where I live. This is an exercise showing perspective drawing which I turned into a painting. In 2011 I used this painting on one of my graphic design projects which I need to do.

JAR WITH FRUITS

Jar with fruits was a quick painting I've done in 2010. But in 2011 I had a project to do with this painting so I have updated the year to 2011. The two fruits are lemon and orange I think. My first ever canvas painting and since then I have been painting with a canvas. Later that year I have had an exhibition painting which I will post and briefly will talk about it.

THE RIVER

This was my first group exhibition painting, I was delighted and very impressed with the end result. It was my 1st river landscape exhibition artwork and it was a challenge to produce a realistic style artwork. The group exhibition was held in 2010. Although around my exhibition I have a look around with others paintings and took some inspirations which can assist me in the future.

The Eagle

In 2011, I had an idea of having a go painting an eagle. Eagles are one of my favourite birds and I had a go painting one. In fact, I drew the eagle outline with a pencil drawn with my left hand. I am right handed drawer/writer but I found out I can draw with my left hand back in 2009.

It was one of the challenging paintings I ever did. I'm sure I will come across much more challenging paintings I will do in the future. The most challenging part of the eagle painting was the feathers. It took me 2-3 days to fix it up. I had to repaint the feathers and start all over it again. It looked more greenish than the photo.

More arylic paintings to come...
